Humanizing Migration

My Access Abroad grew out of our own migration journeys, from navigating undocumented status to working across borders. These experiences inspired us to create a space where migrants can share their own stories and access international opportunities. We bring this mission to life through workshops, speaking engagements, and media projects. We build partnerships that change the narrative on migration and expand opportunities for migrant communities worldwide.

Itziri Gonzalez Barcenas brings a powerful voice shaped by lived migration experiences – from growing up undocumented in the U.S. to becoming a Schwarzman Scholar in China. She has shared her story with universities, nonprofits and global communities, inspiring conversations on migration policy, migrant labor, identity, and belonging.

Where our stories and ideas have been published:

In April 2026, we will premiere our first amateur documentary exploring the successes, challenges, and realities of French people living in China. Selected as a laureate of the French Institute of China through its En Amateur program, Brice’s short docu-series will capture authentic stories of mobility, resilience, and opportunity. For brands and partners, this offers a unique chance to connect with a francophone and global audience eager to explore China beyond the headlines.

The En Amateur Program is label of the Institut Francais de Chine (IFC), which encourages creative projects that foster cultural exchange and mutual understanding.
